Shout out to @GiveBloodNHS team in Westminster today signing up new blood donors. We regularly organise this collaboration as there's a strong link: 70% of donated platelets are used by cancer patients, so if you want to support people affected by cancer, this is a good way! ❤️
Amazing effort by our Home Office @CSCancerNetwork who signed up nearly 100 new blood donors in Croydon today, and 86 in Sheffield yesterday 👏👏 - taking our Civil Servant tally to over 1,000 new donors directly through our events! #ThankYou @GiveBloodNHS ❤️

On this day in 2019 @CSCancerNetwork ran a Civil Service blood donation rally with @GiveBloodNHS team, following multiple sign up events where ~1,000 amazing Civil Servants joined the register (25% rarer blood types). Huge thanks also to @PhilipRutnam for his active support ❤️
