Happy to report #12 of Star Trek Explorer is now out, with my Treknology article focusing on augmented and virtual realities. Look out for an announcement regarding the third Trek shorts anthology coming out soon as it's got one of my stories in it :)

A recording of the talk I gave at the recent Warhammer academic conference is now available at youtube.com/watch?v=UjuOlO… If you've got a spare 20 minutes do take a look - and at any of the other fascinating presentations that took place too.

As a reminder, the world's first academic Warhammer conference starts tomorrow for two days warhammer-conference.com/schedule-frida… Please note - all times are German, so take an hour off here in the UK. Mine is between 3.45 and 5.15 tomorrow, is free on online via Teams.

The Guardian have just released their league table for Creative Writing undergraduate courses in the UK. Take a look (for those who don't know, I'm the programme leader for Lincoln's single honours course).

By ways of an update to my previous post, you can read my abstract at warhammer-conference.com/intertextualit…. I'm presenting online at 4.45 on Friday 27th. Terribly exciting!

Delighted to announce my involvement with the world's first Warhammer academic conference where I'll be discussing the role of intertextuality in writing for the franchise online on Friday 27th September warhammer-conference.com

In more writing news, the latest issue of Star Trek Explorer magazine is now available digitally (UK print February). If you squint at the cover, you'll not only see reference to my regular Treknology column but my latest short story being promoted at the top right corner!

Excited to announce the second anthology of Trek short stories is now available to pre-order amazon.co.uk/Star-Trek-Expl… It's only got one of my tales this time - 'Paghabi' - but it's the front cover artwork so all good :) There's excellent stuff from Jim Swallow too @jmswallow

It's that quarterly time of year again folks - issue 8 of Star Trek: Explorer magazine is now out, and features my Treknology article on Artificial Intelligence with a Star Trek spin. If you're thinking my Trek fiction's gone a bit quiet... it hasn't. More news to come soon!

Quietly pleased to announce I've not only just submitted my latest Treknology article for Star Trek:Explorer and have a new Trek short story commission to be getting on with over the summer, but I've been promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Lincoln 😀
