I still reference your talk from @CSSDevConf in 2017, regarding performance. Looking forward to seeing this write up.
Thank you and that gets a Boolean TRUE. I was exposed to this on my very 1st CFP ever, and never forgot it. Thank you @CSSDevConf ✨🙏🏾✨
CSS Dev Conf 2019 is not happening. The timing is not right to come back yet blog.cssdevconf.com/pausing-css-de…
But @CSSDevConf had blind voting on their CFPs, and mine got in! All that quiet CSS wrangling through the Recession had paid off, and I was able to deliver a creative talk that lots of people liked, not just in Hawaii but in Germany and Italy and Spain...
I remember the first conference I was flown to speak at, @CSSDevConf. I’d been scritch-scratching away at design and development for years in my local community, and I never felt like I had much of anything to offer. I didn’t register as a local expert or anything.
Last year I saw @MinaMarkham give an amazingly heartfelt, funny, insightful and personal keynote at @CSSDevConf, and I was blown away by the impact a compassionate, non-technical talk at a tech conference could have. It inspired me to try and do the same as well. Thank you, Mina!
Are you famous for a thing? Speaking/writing about the thing? Did a woman and/or person of color inspire you to pursue that thing through their own hard work and experience for that thing? Have you thanked or acknowledged that person in your work? Today is a good day to start.
@CSSDevConf in New Orleans was the first conference I attended. I loved it, learned a ton, met a lot of awesome people and had to laugh when I walked in the women's bathroom and all the women were surprised there was a line at a tech conference.
A2: I really enjoyed @CSSDevConf last year. Great speakers and most of my coworkers were there which was fun. I'd definitely go again. #CodeNewbie
So stoked for this...and have been since @CSSDevConf 2013... :P
It's alive... \o/ (the CSS Layout API that is - not in canary yet, local build atm).
Oh no! My first @cssDevConf ever in Hawaii with @pamasaur @bencallahan and people whose Twitter names I struggle to recall but love nonetheless!!

Aww, @rachelandrew @careecodes and @sodevious and I at @CSSDevConf New Orleans a few years back <3

I don't know where I would be without @CSSDevConf and @CodePen. Some of the best experiences of my life and career are due to the connections made through them.

That time we went New Orleans for @CSSDevConf! youtu.be/VJSj5uT7UxE
