Launch Day Recap! Around 2:00 PM on Sunday, the Ram Launch Initiative rocket took to the skies for our NASA USLI mission, reaching an apogee of 4,450 ft.
Day 3 at Competition: Rocket Fair, team photo ops, and final launch prep! We’re taking over the @csumechengr Instagram Story today and tomorrow—don’t miss it! Launch is scheduled for 9AM CT tomorrow (weather permitting), and you can catch it live!
Yesterday, the RLI team had the amazing opportunity to attend the Colorado Space Grant Research Symposium. During that time, team members presented our project to the public, and won awards for People's Choice Video Honors and The Grand Prize Poster. A great start for our team!

Yesterday, the Ram Launch Initiative team successfully completed our second and final pre-competition full-scale launch! Our 12-foot, 60-pound rocket with a functional payload soared to an estimated 4,820 feet and was successfully recovered.
