Together with PDMA, PRCS, and the DHO, @ICRC stands by displaced families in Bajaur. From provision of medical supplies and clean water to first aid and reconnecting families, we're committed to helping communities recover with dignity and hope till they can safely return home.
To strengthen emergency preparedness and enhance timely patient care, ICRC continues to provide essential medical equipment and lifesaving medicines to DHQ Hospital Bannu supporting delivery of critical health services to the community.
ICRC delivered today life-saving medical supplies to DHQ Hospital Bajaur in KP Province including surgical and emergency materials to treat affectees. We also provide technical support to DHQ Hospital Bajaur, to strengthen their emergency preparedness response.
Honored to receive H.E. Mr. Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of #Thailand to Pakistan. Received the handover of assistance provided by Thailand to support #ICRC’s operations in Afghanistan. We discussed opportunities for collaboration in #humanitarian assistance in #Pakistan

Today, Red Cross National Societies and ICRC staff from @ICRCUganda, @UgandaRedCross, @ICRC Burundi, @Rwandaredcross & @ICRC_rw held a workshop on #RedSafe in Kampala. #RedSafe is a free ICRC app providing safe and secure services to people affected by humanitarian crises.
This year we mark the 75th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, international treaties that set limits for armed conflicts. Parties to armed conflicts are the only ones with enough power to enforce the rules of war, transform them into reality, and save lives 👇🏽

Happy International Archives Day! 🎉 @ICRC archives collect and preserve ICRC documents dating from the 1860s to today, and make those until 1975 available for research. They comprise of around 6,700 linear meters of textual records, photographs, and more icrc.org/en/archives
