The following things can both be true 1. Any team can spend money, and more teams should 2. One team with a serious financial advantage outbidding everybody every time is not good for the league

Other teams should try paying players more money.

& the ownership group who handed these out have 0 intent to pay them

Dodgers roster currently has a combined $1.08 billion in deferred money

Remember when the Giants almost had the No. 1 overall pick? Imagine what they could’ve gotten in trade for that, in a draft with maybe only one first-round worthy quarterback now. (You know what? Don’t imagine it. I’m sure those late-season wins will pay off.)

Dante Moore, the Oregon QB who might have been the second QB taken in the 2026 NFL Draft, announced he will NOT enter the draft and will return to school.

In the end, the Red Sox offered more money to Ranger Suarez ($130m present day value) than they offered Alex Bregman (closer to $120m NPV) over five-year deals. Given what Bregman was to their team and clubhouse last year, his unique two-way skills in a market that paid Pete…

The Red Sox still having 4 outfielders, Masataka Yoshida, and a blocked Kristian Campbell while having other holes on the roster is terrible roster construction. Breslow had all winter to figure this out.

The owners of the Red Sox bought the Pittsburgh Penguins for $900 million and just sold them for $1.9 billion. With a B. Red Sox fans I know are wondering when they might spend some of that hockey money on baseball players.

The sad part is that it's extremely hard to be excited about a Red Sox future with Roman Anthony Because there's a zero percent chance Roman is still on the Red Sox in the 2030s. And there's NO ONE to blame except the Red Sox front office

For real... Breslow traded our franchise guy for a pile of scraps that no one wanted under the guise of "oh Bregman is our guy now." And now we have no Devers and no Bregman

Traded devers for absolutely 0 reason now. Fantastic

Well, the Giants got that coaching search help from the AFC North after all.

Giants retaining Joe Schoen is an absolute joke. A low moment for the Franchise. Certainly hurts efforts in searching for a Coach. The concept of a Coach / GM joined at the hip that made so much sense when hiring Daboll-Schoen no longer important? John Mara needs to step down

🚨WILD FOOTAGE🚨 #Giants GM Joe Schoen wanted to draft Jalin Hyatt the 2nd round — New York ended up selecting Hyatt in the 3rd round. Hyatt has been a historically bad bust in New York with just three catches this season. Schoen is a disaster as a GM.

🚨🚨WILD🚨🚨 VIDEO OF #GIANTS GM JOE SCHOEN’S SON WANTED HIS DAD TO TRADE UP AND DRAFT JAYDEN DANIELS… “YOU ONLY GET THIS JOB ONCE. YOU NEED TO TRY TO WIN.” Drafting Daniels would completely change the franchise's course and set off a domino effect…

The Giants are locked into the fifth pick. They would have had the No. 1 pick if they lost today since the Raiders won.

Frank Pepe reposted

I cant believe the #Giants are going to be picking outside the top 5 after the season we just had to go through. They will still get a good player but they had the opportunity to collect a haul of draft picks to fill holes in this roster, and that dream is over.

Frank Pepe reposted

Giants only have two picks in the top 100. They have 13 losses. Had a chance to add cost-controlled assets to try and improve their team. Let it go for nothing. Again. Eagles laid down for them a few years ago. Cowboys doing it now. And we'll do nothing about it and people will…
