2016 School of Education alumnus, Hannah Hale, came to speak in Mrs. Ferguson"s math classes about what she learned here at Cedarville that has helped her in her current teaching position in a second grade classroom in the DC area.
Ariel Schantz, EC Methods I Field Experience, included drama in her teaching of first grade Language Arts. Students performed "surgery" on contractions, learning which letters to remove and where to add the apostrophe.

Children's Literature students discuss "Inside Out and Back Again" by Thanhha Lai in Literature Circles. They are enjoying the weather and the opportunity to have class outside.
Early Childhood Teacher Candidates enjoy serving Cedar Cliff during Hollywood themed Family Literacy Night!
Early Childhood majors facilitate a Saturday enrichment with Cedarville children. The theme was Winter Wonderland.
Early Childhood Science Methods II students team up with Wright Patterson personnel to judge Main Elementary’s (Beavercreek) 2nd-5th grade science fair.
Early Childhood science students collaborate to identify, solve problems and record data.
ECED Methods II students use senses and the process skill of observation to predict responses of crickets as they add food and water to the habitat. Students listen to the story of Jane Goddall and record characteristics of a scientist who was a good observer.
Early Childhood Children's Literature students participate in a Mock Caldecott where they practiced analyzing illustrations for award-winning characteristics.
