While students and teachers work remotely with GCMS being closed, I have to give a special thanks to our custodial crew who are in the building everyday deep cleaning classrooms and preparing the building for our return. Thank you!

Students received the notice only a few hours ago about remote learning plan for March 16-20 and I’m already receiving emails from STUDENTS about resources WE can use during this time to make our transition from classroom to remote learning most effective. Students lead the way!

Congrats to GCMS 6th grade teacher Ms. McCarthy and her @CWCJCHS freshman girls basketball team (all former GCMS students) on winning the Essex County Basketball Tournament. Great win for a great group of young ladies.
How about this? Our Girls Freshman Basketball team beat Livingston this morning 38-20 and with that became the Girls Freshman Essex County Tournament Champions. Great job ladies!
