At last week’s BOE meeting, Board member Izzy Imig, who’s candidacy was supported by Rockwood’s parent hate group, recommended eliminating 3 programs that offer support to marginalized students because “they don’t serve ALL students.” All 3 programs were cut by a 4-3 vote.
It’s taken me a few days to collect my thoughts (in a way that won’t get me kicked off this app) regarding the travesty that took place during @rockwoodschools 10/6 School Board meeting. As most of you know, we’ve had a group of parents fighting every DEI effort for 2+ years now.
