Boys wrestling: Rochester's Declan Gard loses 7-2 to Forrester (Brownsburg) and finishes in fourth place at the IHSAA state finals. He finishes the season 43-7.
Boys wrestling: Rochester's Brant Beck (157) defeats Dubach (Adams Central) 7-2 and finishes seventh at the IHSAA state finals. He finishes the season 46-3. Was third at 165 last year.
Boys wrestling: Rochester's Layne Horn (132) wins by fall in 2:03 over Waldon (DeKalb) and finishes in seventh place at the IHSAA state finals. Turned him from the top position, trapped the arms, pushed Waldon's left shoulder down with his knee. Horn finishes the season 48-2.

With last night's victory, Coach Rob Malchow now holds the Rochester High School record for most wins as Varsity Boys Basketball Coach! Malchow officially surpassed Clyde Lyle's record of 230 wins. Congratulations Coach Malchow!
Tonight might have lacked high school events, but it was a home game for THE Josh Van Meter and his Dream Team. Loved seeing all the support from our athletes for their biggest supporter!
Boys wrestling: Rochester's Layne Horn (132), Brant Beck (157) and Wyatt Davis (175) win TRC titles at Maconaquah. Rochester finishes fourth as a team.
Girls basketball: Rochester 23, Kouts 5 (half) Rochester 11-0 in the second quarter. Kouts did not score in the final 11:15 of the half.
