Is the cop who was first on scene responding to this still under investigation by @policeconduct and if so why has this taken longer than the triple murder investigation?

Very moving watching the painstakingly thorough investigation to bring justice to Agnes and her family

Detectives in tonight's episode of #TheMet worked seamlessly to ensure Agnes Akom's family got the closure and justice they deserved. DCs Sarah and Mike were two of the detectives and they interviewed Necukai Paizan for 3 days to try and find out what happened to Agnes.

NEW REPORT: By 2028, almost all public services will still be performing worse than pre-pandemic, which in most cases was already worse than in 2010 when the Conservatives came to power Without a sustained change in approach, public services risk getting stuck in a doom loop 🧵

Let's see what the water pistols look like then... Surely they would have taken a picture to show us how innocuous they look? If not, why not?

These are your "trigger happy" armed police officers

There would’ve been a very different outcome if this happened in the US. Thankfully no one was hurt.

It's easy for people in privileged positions to say they don't consent to police having firearms, when they are unlikely to find themselves in a life-threatening situation which necessitates an armed police response. The demographics of knife and gun crime victimisation are clear

If they don’t want to carry guns, good. They shouldn’t be armed anyway. When did we consent to that? Suella Braverman’s fully focused on creating migration chaos & has basically ignored the growing crisis in policing that’s come to light on her watch since Sarah Everard #r4today
