Dad jokes commencing...
In the digital age students need to be able to create technology so they are not left behind, so they are included in the revolution that is happening. Being able to code and create programs is something that computer science can enable them to do. @CameronCodeorg #Foromic 2019
Except on the advocacy team we are all business, all the time. We are too busy talking about course codes over here.
At @codeorg we have a robust prank culture, to keep our office light-hearted. Last week, to surprise our head of PeopleOps, Megan, we slipped a Prank Waiver Form into a new-hire’s paperwork. 😂 docs.google.com/document/d/1ew…
Code.org does amazing work. They are on fire!
Young women and students of color are breaking records in computer science! The gender gap in high school CS continues to shrink, 6 years in a row, and there are so many people to thank! 🖥💪🎉 buff.ly/2MSyfKO

Cameron here, reporting from #CSEDCON.
We're kicking off the FIRST EVER Global Computer Science Education Conference in Las Vegas! We're welcoming 101 program managers from 59 regional partners representing 46 states, and dozens of international partner organizations from around the world. #CSEdCon #CodePartner
Across 24 states, only 35% of high schools in the U.S. offer computer science. We can do better. Thanks @codeorg and @csteachersorg for this report #edreform code.org/files/2018_sta…
Missouri is 1 of only 4 states that doesn’t have any CS ed policy in place. Today, a computer science education bill - that passed with broad bi-partisan support - is on @GovParsonMO's desk. We hope he will sign it and continue to support the expansion of computer science.
First meeting with Lt. Governor Parson was a success. He says infrastructure & workforce development are key components to developing adequate CS ed standards. #MOLegKCTC #CS4MO
Calling on all educators and parents: help us build a database of all schools that teach (or don’t teach) computer science. medium.com/@codeorg/the-k…
