Today is done-burger. Last day of cape to strait tomorrow. Eastbourne at 8am, leave parliament at 1130 and arrive Wahine mem park at 2pm.

Crossed the Owahanga river on my way to Castlepoint today. Around 25km to go. Thankfully it's cloudy n grey today. Will update Facebk tonit


One thing is for sure: running with a friend is faster than alone. 15km to go. On the road to Cape Kidnappers.


20km away from Napier. The wind is shaking the caravan but it's cosy inside. Whirinaki tonight and run to Clive tomorrow.


Running 7km of gravely sand, lined with jaw like cliffs on a beautiful stretch to mohaka. Sun is out but am still 30km away from Putorino.

A cloudy relief from the sun today. 15km down, 27km to go to Wairoa. Mahia Peninsular looking fantastic this sunrise.


Running passed forestry and farmland to Mahanga and Mahia. Broke the back of the run yesterday with final 7km slog uphill. Today apprx 40km.


Arrived at a stunning coastal beach by Gisborne. Near 40km run done. Time to rest up and hope to go for a surf in the turquoise water soon.


Stoked to arrive at Tolaga Bay. Cliffs surrounding are super impressive. Great to see am in the BOP news, but not exactly accurate info.


Run over 35km. Only another 5km to Tolaga. Interesting road: passed cows, sheep and even a truck that went off the road. Cool and close now.


Ran from Te Araroa to the East Cape under the cover of stars yesterday. Today ran down the most eastern beach,thru farm towards Ruatoria.


The weather is turning. Enjoying the fact that am finally going around east cape. Off to omaio. Remember to please donate on my website.
