EMS is responsible for the chain-of-survival. We must be the custodians. It's not enough to say "what matters is early CPR and defibrillation" (downplaying the role of EMS). Are those things *actually happening* in your EMS system? If we're not responsible, then who?

What a great read re: SCA - as referenced, survival rates can be 100% when CPR is done within 1 minute, and an AED is available and used within 2 minutes - current survival rates of 7% just aren’t acceptable #belikebill #sca #aed
