“The souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them” (Wisdom 3:1). Saint Andrew Dũng-Lac and Companions, pray for us.
We give thanks for you, Blessed Mother, for the loving care you so generously give to all of us, your children. Most especially, we thank you for the gift of your Son, our Redeemer.
“How worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and divinity, and wisdom and strength and honor. To him belong glory and power for ever and ever” (Rv 5:12;1:6). Christ is King. Come, let us adore Him.
Holy Mary, we proclaim your Son as Christ the King. Help us to be faithful to Him despite all obstacles. Walk with us, dearest Mother. Inspire us by your discipleship and your fidelity to the Gospel.
“The Lamb who is at the center of the throne will lead us to the springs of the waters of life” (cf. Rev 7:17). St. Cecilia, pray for us.
We honor you, Blessed Mary, born without sin and wholly dedicated to the service of God’s people. Pray for us, your children, as we continue our synod process. Help us to listen prayerfully to God’s Word and to the voices of God’s people everywhere.
“All the richest of the people long to see your face: behind her, her maiden companions are escorted to the King; her attendants are escorted to you amid gladness and joy” (Ps 45). Today we celebrate the Presentation of the BVM. May her example bring us gladness and joy!
Mary, Mother of the Church and Model of Christian discipleship, as we continue our synodal journey, help us turn to you, confident that you are with us in our rejoicing and in our sorrow.
As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes” (Lk 19:41). How long, O Lord, will peace remain hidden from our eyes!
Walk with us, dearest Mother. Inspire us by your discipleship and your fidelity to the Gospel. Teach us to be faithful witnesses to Jesus Christ, your Son.

“The one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit that dwells in you” (Rom 8:11). The Holy Spirit breathes life into us.
Walk with us, Blessed Mother. Teach us to care for one another and for our common home. Help us to be grateful stewards of all God’s gifts.
St. Rose Philippine Duchesne listened to the people she was called to serve, responding to their needs with an open heart. The Potowatami peoples in Sugar Creek, Kansas, called her Quah-kah-ka-num-ad (the woman who prays always).
Encourage us in our weakness, Blessed Mother, and enlighten us in our confusion and doubt. We look to you as a sure guide when we have lost our way.
“O God, by whose gift St. Elizabeth of Hungary recognized and revered Christ in the poor, grant, through her intercession, that we may serve with unfailing charity the needy and those afflicted” (Collect). St. Elizabeth, pray for us.
Intercede for all your children, Blessed Mother Mary. We seek your special care for all who are suffering from economic, social or political unrest during these troubled times.
“Holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come” (cf. Rv 4:1–11). Today is the Memorial of St. Gertrude, a mystic who grew close to the holy heart of Jesus. By her intercession, may we, too, be filled with the love and compassion of our Redeemer.
Stay with us, Holy Mary, and comfort us when we are anxious or afraid. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, hear and answer us when we seek your protection.
