We LOVE books and reading! Check here often to see all the amazing things we are doing in the Carter Elementary Library!
We have books for adults at our book fair too for parents who would like to shop with their kids. We also have door prizes and posters.
I see the Dog Man, Bad Guys, Dork Diaries, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid books our Carter kids are always asking for at our book fair. You can buy them next week in our library! #bookfair #booksarefun #read
Book fair is set up and ready for shoppers. Remember you can visit all week next week. We have so many great books you'll love to read.
It's just a few more days until our book fair! Be sure to save your money so you can buy some awesome books and help our library get new books and materials that will make reading and learning even more fun.
Teachers! I have ten signed copies of my latest I Survived to giveaway to you and your students. Please RT to enter. I will contact winners directly.
Book fair is coming soon. Miss Cameron is getting the library ready. Fall break is a great time to do extra chores and earn money for new books.
Here is something else that is happening in the Carter Elementary library. Okay kids you're going to have to do a lot more research and convincing to make Miss Cameron think spiders are cool.
I read I'm Trying to Love Spiders to a class & we supported our opinions on if spiders are creepy or cool w/ research. I used hot glue & was covered w/ web like strings. I imagined something crawling on me all day. Then I found a black widow in my garage. I may not sleep tonight
1st grade is using #PebbleGo to research fall. They are creating a fall fact tree with their research. #kcslms
4th grade did a great job of formulating questions for their next research project. I can't wait to see their final projects. #kcslms
My 3rd grade students have started formulating questions for their research project/postcard exchange. There is still plenty of time for other classrooms around the country to join our exchange! Sign up here! #makeconnections #makelearningfun #learn #write docs.google.com/document/d/1T7…
Great leaders make great libraries in Knox County Schools. Congrats Sarah!

Happy National Read a Book Day! I hope all of my Carter kids read something great tonight and tell me about it tomorrow!
My students are learning about other states. They'd like to exchange postcards with other schools around our nation as part of their project. If you can help, add your info to the Doc. RT & share w/ other teachers & librarians you know around the country.docs.google.com/document/d/1T7…
Please HELP by Retweeting! I'm teaching my students the importance of being good digital citizens & why they should be careful what they post on social media in a meaningful way. RT so they can see how quickly things spread online. #kcslms #help #learn #think1st #librarylife
