Making an indie mobile game 🕹about fishing 🐠, cooking delicious foods 🥘 and just chilling 🌴

Just doing lots of code and some blockout stuff so far, nothing visual. But core mechanics are coming soon!

Ok, holidays are over and I’ve came up with a concept of *mobile* core gameplay, so here we go again! #indie #gamedev #devlog

Temporarily not doing anything because I need to rethink core gameplay as I’ve realized that it’s not friendly to short mobile game sessions nor enough for a PC game. #indie #gamedev #devlog

Now Leo has a great wooden stick. What he'll do with it? 🤔 Improved the outline shader, btw #indie #gamedev #devlog

Made a lighthouse. This will be an important element of the game! #indie #gamedev #devlog

Today I’ve made my first animation, taught Leo to walk, created a Shader Graph for fancy toon lighting, made a few small scripts for real time daylight and a campfire light. Pretty much for a first day of the week! #devlog #indiegames

Now Leo knows how to walk... But doesn't know how to use boats yet.

Results of the very first dev week: Made a buoyant boat and the main character. Oh, and a titanic meme. Learning modeling, UV’ing and rigging from zero. #indiedev #screenshotsaturday #gamedev
