Thanks, Megan - sadly most of us living in South Africa are only too aware of these realities, and of course, on a per capita basis, it is far worse as South Africa's population has just about tripled since 1994.
A rate far lower than the combined increase in the birth rate and worsened by the rampant, out of control illegal immigration flows from other, even more unstable regions of Africa to our north, exacerbated by the total decimation of our armed forces, which made us defenceless.
Lies and secrets ... sounds just like Trump. Everyone agrees that Trump is an inveterate liar, a fraudster, unfit to run any public company, and will lie, cheat, defraud, in fact do anything, to avoid liability and consequences of his actions, Putinesque in fact!

We certainly all wish her well, but we have seen no evidence to back up the ringing endorsement from Ms Madonsela, but we look forward to seeing evidence of such ourselves. Talking truth to power, even at the risk of personal cost, is an essential component of this portfolio.
