We now provide information on the date of creation of an entry, the date of last update & the version number. Interesting to see that 38 entries were updated at every release (30x). All are well known #celllines (HL-60, K-562, MCF-7, etc) Surprisingly HeLa was "only" updated 29x

The #Cellosaurus STR search tool (web.expasy.org/cellosaurus-st…) has been available for two months. It has already being used over 2000 times. In about half of the case it was accessed from its home page & in the other half from specific #cellline entry pages

A very recent good example of the use of the #Cellosaurus in the quest to detect #cellline misidentification: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29873307 Many thanks to the authors for reporting this particular problem as it would otherwise have not been detected

A Wikipedia ayotollah is complaining because I am adding cross-references to the #Cellosaurus to #cellline pages (less than <100). He calls it linkspaming, I call it referencing to a scientific resource. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia… And add your 2 cents to that discussion!!
