Very disappointed to see plans to build on the site of St. Ann's Hill Hydro. While housing is desperately needed why does it have to be at the expense of heritage?

#Onthisday 1882 5 members of the Joyce family were murdered in their sleep in Maamtrasna #Mayo. Maolra Seoghe only spoke Irish & was unable to defend himself as the court proceedings were conducted in English was found guilty & executed. Michael D Higgins pardoned him in 2018
