I think my favourite thing today was seeing a known horrible NZer, an alt right regular so confused that their followers were supporters of Andrew Tate whom they dislike. Will it make them stop and wonder about why their followers and his overlap? Probably not but it is funny.
Just got my first “we need your details to deliver a package” spam texts of the year. Haven’t had one in months - it’s just like old times, when the world was a lot simpler (early 2024).

I was hoping the 90s nostalgia push we have going on at the moment ended with bringing back the kiwi burger. Not with Ruthenasia and the recession which allowed National to gut everything they touched and hurt so many people with callous lack of empathy.
Did you know you can just walk in and see our most important documents whenever you like? He whakaputanga, te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Women’s suffrage petition, all amazing taonga, all available for us to see anytime (well anytime the National library is open)

I’ve often wondered why people who feel the need to say they have common sense in their profiles on here follow up with hateful BS, like somehow one is connected to the other like hating people, and othering them is common sense.

What could possibly go wrong after one party leader last week tried to dictate what the media’s job was and the government banning a reporter from covering an event they’ve been reporting on for 8 years. Nothing bad ever happens when politicians influence media after all…
