Watching live-streams from inside and outside the kettle and a few things are clear. 1) Most of these people are clueless kids, 2) there are a few ‘care in the community’ and 3) Finally the police have stepped up and are doing their job and doing it quite well to be honest.
I’ve seen people saying ok to remove Bristol statue but it isn’t. You can’t allow thugs to use violence to bring down monuments. If you don’t like them run a peaceful campaign. If you don’t stop it things will go much further. They went on to deface Churchill, Lincoln...
We are in a place where in police eyes some criminals and thugs are more equal than others and it is not sitting well with most. Yet they pursue our minor lockdown misdemeanours with relish. We no longer see they represent the people. The majority law abiding. Dangerous.
