As parents of a teenage autistic daughter we have to say it's not just Education where parents have to fight battles. Getting a diagnosis, getting any sort of support that then you find isn't very good anyway it's one fight after another. And we are exhausted by it #autism
A new report from @Autism has found that parents are facing years-long battles to get support for autistic children in schools. Tim Nichols from the National Autistic Society says 'sustained investment' is needed in order to make the education system work for autistic children.
