Folks, it's arrived - the holy grail of F1 race programs: Europe 1950 (at Silverstone), the first Grand Prix of the World Championship Era. I wish this arrived for the anniversary recently, but alas. It is in (mostly) fantastic condition, as well. What a piece of history! 1/

Such a shitty take. Norris has been with McLaren for 7 years and he stuck with them cause he believed in them. He didn't just luck into getting a fast car, he worked for it and he's been rewarded. Sure there's an element of luck but that could apply to any winning driver + team
It's like with Norris and (to a lesser extent) Piastri, they aren't supposed to be there. One of them is probably winning a title this year, they both have almost double digit wins. All that while 2 of this generation's big three have no titles and single digit wins.

#OnThisDay in ’96, as Damon Hill crossed the finish line to win the #JapaneseGP & clinch that year’s #F1 drivers’ world championship, Murray Walker famously said, “…& I’ve got to stop, because I’ve got a lump in my throat.”
