Got blocked by Kramnik yesterday, so thought I would celebrate it by making this parody video :). It is not perfect, but I spent way too many hours on it! I did entertain myself - so I hope I can also entertain you :).

I see your Volokiting and I raise you an Inđić, who is again in incredible form in a team event. 3/3 so far! Another amazing event to watch!

Painful loss for Matthias, who soon will compete in Candidates. Amazing opening preparation by Ukranian GM Volokitin!

I would say that this is shocking to read, but it kinda isn't... It is ironic, in my opinion, that an event like this happened simultaneously with the celebrated USA vs India event. The duality of "growing the game" is still striking..

The 62nd Indian National Championship felt more like a survival challenge than a chess tournament. Monkeys on the shamiana, rainwater dripping onto boards, power cuts during time trouble, it had everything except proper conditions. 1/3

Since FIDE is all about rule changes these days, maybe they should also review their criteria for gaining of the FIDE Master title? Seems like nowadays any shmock can obtain one.

Got sent this today by a 800ish-rated friend on chess.com who was very proud he managed to find a "brilliant" move. It doesn't matter that no human coach would ever call such a move brilliant. As long as the algorithm feeds you with your daily dose of dopamine...

Emma Watson finally responds to Israeli Ambassador's tweet calling her an antisemite

Oh man, if Keymer ends up not qualifying to Candidates because of this... Instead of being the sole-leader, he now has to try beat Erigaisi with Black tomorrow... Some games are indeed worth more than half a point...
