Hey @NotreDame @NDFootball there’s still time to fix this terrible decision of not allowing the @PurdueBands big drum to come on Sat. This will be the first time since 1979 that the drum will miss a performance. Do you really want to be the reason that streak ends? Figure it out!

I checked my inbox this morning and remembered I sent 6 emails to myself last night after I shut my computer down because I kept thinking of more school ideas and didn’t want to forget them. Does anyone else do this or just me?
At any given moment you could find yourself with someone who is barely holding it together on the inside - regardless of how you “see” them on the outside. Choose kindness every single time.
You can tell a teacher to take the weekend off, to push school to the side, to avoid email, and to avoid 12-14 hour days...but they will tell you that most of the time, being highly effective in their role requires them to use their personal time. Teachers need us to know that.
I’m teaching my virtual students without shoes and I’m in the school building. There are bigger fish to fry than shoes. As long as what I can see is school appropriate, we’re good. 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🙌🏼
Just saw a list of rules for students during at-home learning. It said students had to be wearing shoes. There is no emoji that can adequately capture how INSANE this is. Hey grown-ups? You're making a challenging thing so much worse with crap like this. Stop.
Giving feedback in #googleclassroom with #emoji! This helps my students who struggle with reading by giving them a visual clue or cue. Who doesn't love emojis?! #sped #googleclassroom #google #teacherlife #teachertwitter #spededucation #education #tlap #kidsdeserveit #teachbetter
I legit geeked out using breakout rooms for the first time today with my virtual students. #zoom #backtoschool #collaboration
Thanks @murraystcoehs for my new sign to hang in my classroom! Once a racer, always a racer!
Can someone please figure out how to put more hours in one day? K, thanks. #teacherlife #BackToSchool
This is a good reminder! I’ve had to develop some boundaries the last few years. My fav is turning off the notifications to my school email app. I have school email on a different app so I can more easily access it when needed but ignored it when I am home. 📲 #teachersdeserveit
You’ve heard it before, but I'll say it louder for the people in the back: we need healthy boundaries between 'work' and 'home'! No more #teacher guilt for turning off your brain to relax! Make sure you have a space to step away and regroup. #TeachersDeserveIt
