Mystery Monday: This photo is of 5/6ths of a large linocut mural that would have measured approx 24 ft long x 6 ft tall that graced the inside of a #yyc establishment in the 60s, 70s and/or 80s. Does anyone remember seeing this & can point out where it was displayed? #yycheritage

1/2 If you're ever visiting Bragg Creek, cast an eye upon this handsome Craftsman bungalow. It has a #YYC connection. Originally on 7 Ave SW near Mewata Armouries, it was moved to Bragg Creek in 1987 by its present owner. Following restoration, the home operates as a B and B.

And July is the 20th anniversary of Stephen Ave being designated a National Historic Site/District (July 18 to be exact). Hope everyone can head down and enjoy the avenue this weekend.

A proposal was made public 2 mths ago that would decimate Calgary’s most beautiful & intact block of historic buildings and… silence from the city’s elected officials. Do you favour glass towers over heritage? @yyctkw @CWalcottYYC @JyotiGondek @gccarra #yycheritage #yycdowntown

all ruins are here to teach us lessons, and all ruins teach us different ones. The big lesson all ruins teach in common, though, is to replace your roof every 20-30 years or at end of manufacturer's warranty

As @calgary increasingly adds more #OpenData to their website, why must Calgarians go down to city hall to see development proposal documents? #yyc #yyccc
