Albie scored a long range goal to get the equaliser followed by Spencer to make it 2-1 at HT. The team continued their fluid football, earning a penalty for Theo to slot home and Tyler’s perfect cross for Jake to finish the game 4-1. 🏆 Parents POTM Albie, Coaches POTM Jake 2/2
Our U12s played at home in a league game against Hemingford Yellows. A slow start saw the team conceding a goal within two minutes following good work from the opposition. The team rallied together and showed their footballing skills and teamwork to get back into the game. 1/2
We would like to wish Scotter all the best for the rest of the competition. 🏆 Massive well done to the whole team for their continued belief and work rate. Parents’ POTM was Alfie and Coaches POTM was Theo. 3/3
Our U12s were at home to Ketton Sports Blacks. A slow start, but the team built into the game with some great movement and play. We pressed quickly to maintain possession and as the first half progressed our confidence grew to finish the first half in the lead. 1/3
We tried to get a foothold in the game with Park Farm Pumas taking their chances, gaining a two goal lead. We just couldn’t find the back of the net before the final whistle ending 3-1 to Park Farm. Well done to Parents POTM, which went to the whole team & Coaches POTM Albie.
U12s played away to Park Farm Pumas in a tough competitive game. The Pilgrims struggled to gain control of the game from the start going 1-0 down early on. We persevered and pushed after going behind to get an equaliser midway through the first half ending it on a draw. 1/2
The team rallied, forcing the opposing keeper to make a great save, but we could not find the equaliser! The team can hold their heads high; they showed great composure, resilience, team spirit throughout. Well done to Parents POTM Alfie and Coaches POTM Connor 🧡🖤⚽️ 2/2
U12s were in a tightly fought contest v Peterborough Lions. Both teams had chances but the Lions took the lead. We played dominant football to take the lead before they equalised. A clearance in the last few mins took a deflection in to our goal putting them back in front. 1/2

U11s played their last away game at Glinton and Northborough. The team started strong, using their strength and movement to control the game. The players passed the ball effectively across the whole pitch using the space available to take charge. 1/2

Our U11s played Orton Rangers: we had a slow start after a few weeks off, but their confidence grew & we had some fantastic assists/goals. We continued to press out of possession and moved the ball quickly for a strong finish. Well done to Parents POTM James & Coaches POTM Connor

U11s played away at South Lincs Swifts. A slow start, the team tried to play the ball through the middle, causing more frustration in a competitive match. In the second half, we started to play how we usually do, using width & producing more fluid football to give us an edge 1/2

U11s played Wisbech St Mary Saints. We had a strong start, keeping possession whilst moving quickly, finding space & getting rewards early on. Second half, the team played out from the back with confidence, using the width of the pitch to push forwards with great affect. 1/2

U11s played away at Holbeach Blacks in difficult wet conditions. We started strong moving the ball quickly while finding space. Outside of possession, we pressed quickly to win the ball back resulting in a strong first half. 1/2

U11s played a League Cup game v Peterborough Lions. We started strong, pressing out of possession, controlling the midfield. The game stayed fairly even with the better chances coming from Boston. Second half, the Pilgrims continued to dominate, pushing at every opportunity. 1/2
