Out scouting corn plots and using my favourite toy to take some stand counts. Amazing that I can fly a 50ac field in under 10 minutes and gather this kind of info. Outside of the plot was planted a few days ahead of plot. Note the height change of the corn @PioneerSeedsCA

Out evaluating some emergence notes on new corn products. This field had a heavy population of dandelion that over wintered. The grower used glyphosate and 101ml/ac of Lontrel. Lontrel is also great on thistles, ragweeds, fleabane and more! @CortevaCA @PioneerSeedsCA

Out today with my new drone and doing some stand counts in a corn plot we planted April 23. Pretty amazing technology and the couple spots that I ground truthed are close. It should at least give an idea where the poor/good spots area vs walking the whole field. @PioneerSeedsCA

Planting plots is a whole lot easier with a set up like this and lots of help! Getting a mix of some current and new varieties. Also, as an added bonus of a couple entries with and without our biological product Fortified Stimulate. @PioneerSeedsCA @CortevaCA
