As long as you remain in your private, you can convince yourself of your goodness. But the moment you pick up the clay to build, you are stained. You hands in the dirt will give you clarity. You suddenly understand those you once criticized. Not everything can be forgiven or…
Thank you for trying again today.
My President! I’m glad that despite being my senior at the bar, you always allowed my big mouth to ask you questions and investigate your ambitions, even in public. I love and support you for the same reason I supported Mr. Obi—that undeniable earnestness; that humane concern,…
There's no gainsaying that young lawyers are losing interest in dispute resolution practice because of the unnecessary delays and poor remuneration associated with litigation. This is why the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria sometimes no longer has the glory it once held. 1/2
A small tension between my half-artistic side and the lawyer in me is that American lawyers generally dislike Oxford commas. The artist in me, however, is in love with Oxford commas. It’s about the first thing I look out for when reviewing my drafts before sign off.
Adulting is stressful because you face the world with no spectacles on. The ugliness breaks us. But if you do not totally shut your inner child, it will keep your eyes warm with alittle love; it will help you laugh and find happiness in strange places, in spite of your suffering.
Every once in a while, I discover another gem in the comment sections. A based fellow, usually the ones with elusive profiles. I live for these discoveries now so I may be excited to learn anew. That’s pretty much all this platform offers me these days.

Thanks to everyone supporting this initiative. We got some financial support and someone offered to help with these prints. We have paid off some students’ debts and I’m sure this competition will fire them up too. Thanks @MAYORofSoxk for putting all these today.
We are excited to announce that the long-anticipated quiz competition will be held on the 7th of June 2024 at No. 1 Edem Udo St, Eket, Akwa Ibom State. We want to express our gratitude to @Mrposidez @UbioObu @bolfak and Oso for their support, as well as others who have done one
My Drawing of Mr Destiny (IV) — In Progress I've known @Mrpossidez since my late teenage years, and for many years, I've observed him closely. Here’s part of the story.
4 solid years spent here. I will share some useful personal tips/lessons for lawyers who are just commencing their legal practice before the year runs out.
Dear trial enthusiasts 365/365🎈 Honoured to be nominated for the legal practice award/performance rating (this year’s LIFIN Excellence Award — legalideasforum.com/lifin-excellen…), in the litigation category.
Isaiah Bozimo SAN ✅ . This is a mere formality. In competence and character, he has been silk for years now. An excellent advocate and an outstanding person. If you have the privilege of running into him in court, you better stay back and watch. Learned silk through and through.
Criminal mock trial. I loved it. These opportunities to groom is a blessing. Thank you, @LASUOfficial law faculty, for having me.
Many faults seniors catch in agreements they review are there because someone didn’t read the argument one more time. There is always that feeling you have after a 2nd/3rd read of an agreement you review that you should look at it one more time. You often ignore, hence the misses
I am in a transition phase. How do I know this? Because lately I have become more and more conscious of how much I do not know. Waiting to see Joy 4.0 I think she’ll be really dope 😁
Where’s that igbo men thread again?
Adulthood is more ruthless with dreamers. When it gets tough, there should that cage of seemingly tough people to draw inspiration from. It is why I encourage friendship of communal zeal and interest; those whose limit is death. Save for death, they forge on regardless.
When we Igbos says things like “proudly Igbo,” we do not say it to say that we take glory in being born Igbo. There is nothing to being born into any tribe. We are born and we are handed a tribe by default. There is no prize in the mere fact; we earn nothing by it.
