My father always told me: If you talk about running backs and don’t mention Gale Sayers, you don’t know what you’re taking about. RIP to a legend and all time great.
A generation of Bears fans mourn loss of a legend who was most exciting player on many bad teams. Another generation knows No. 40 only from old highlights. Everyone can agree Gale Sayers was epitome of grace, on and off field, one of best Bears ever, who'll be missed. RIP, Gale.
My heart is broken over the loss of my dear friend, Gale Sayers. Portraying Gale in Brian’s Song was a true honor and one of the nightlights of my career. He was an extraordinary human being with the the kindest heart. My sincerest condolences to his family 💔#RIPGaleSayers

XXX 🎂🎉🎁 Every day on my birthday I do a yearly self-portrait and here is my quote going into my thirties: "The grass isn't greener on the other side, the grass is greener where you water it." 🌱💛
That's a shame. Even though I am not a Texas fan. Cedric Benson is a legend in the Panhandle of Texas. We will miss his athletic physical abilities on the field. We will solemnly hang are heads low in the panhandle today. As we have lost One of Great's. Thank you for the memories
