Raft Building
Some great colour mixing 3W, you made the colours of Cezanne’s palette well.
In RE, we have been looking at different religious items that help people communicate with God. We asked some really good questions about how different people may use the items.
Making our own leaf fossils! We have enjoyed hunting for suitable leaves in the Wild Life Garden and making our own fossils out of clay.
Our house captains read out their speeches and the votes were cast. Congratulations to our newly appointed captains. We will announce this officially on the newsletter this week.
Our Science lesson this week was all about the forces ‘push’ and ‘pull’. We were investigating whether toys needed to be pushed, pulled or both to make them work. Lots of fun!
As part of our computer work about Branching Databases, we have had to create questions that only have ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers. Some great discussion and questioning 3W.
We have enjoyed visiting our school library this week. 📚

Today, we have been making our healthy pizzas, tasting them and evaluating them. Lots of fun together too, great teamwork 3W.

In computers this week, we have been using Scratch and learning about coding using blocks of instructions. We planned this out first then programmed our Sprites to follow our instructions.
As part of our Design Technology work, we have been looking at the labels on food packaging. We have read the different ‘traffic lights’ to help us to make healthy choices. A really enjoyable lesson 3W - well done!

In our History lesson today, we have been pretending to be archaeologists. We have been looking at lots of different Bronze Age artefacts and trying to work out what they were, who might have used them and which materials they were made from.
Can pictures move? As part of our computer work this term, we have to investigate whether pictures move or not. We discovered that they do move! Watch our videos and see how.
