SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT - HIGH FIRE DANGER ⚠️ Low relative humidity and wind gusts up to 25 mph will lead to a high fire danger today.
RECORD HIGHS POSSIBLE THIS WEEK ‼ High temperatures will soar into the 70s later this week and potentially clip 80 in the valley by the middle of the week. Daily record highs could be in jeopardy in Chattanooga on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday!

Good morning! It's a frigid start to the day with temperatures in the 20s and even the teens in Murphy. Stay warm, friends!
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Murray, Gilmer, and Fannin Counites in North Georgia. Up to 1" of snow will be possible with locally higher amounts in elevations of 2000'. #gawx
Radar Check 11:21 AM ET (11/10): We have a decent amount of snow showers moving in from the northwest. A few areas are reporting up to a dusting of snow in some of the higher elevations. Let us know what you are seeing!
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the counties shaded in purple. This includes Bledsoe, Rhea, Meigs, McMinn, Monroe, and Van Buren Counties. Most areas will see less than an inch, but there could be a few pockets of 1-2".
Moisture is moving back in this morning! Parts of Bledsoe, Grundy, Marion, Sequatchie, and Van Buren should be getting some snow flurries. Can anyone confirm?

DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS TOMORROW MORNING ‼ Wind chills tomorrow morning are going to be BRUTAL. Gusty winds out of the northwest will make it feel like the single digits in the higher elevations and teens here in the valley.
