CmapTools uses log4j-1.2.12, an old version which is not affected by the reported vulnerability. log4j 1.x only has 1 known vulnerability (cvedetails.com/cve/CVE-2019-1…). We aren't using the SocketServer to listen to network traffic, so it does not affect us.

The IHMC Public Cmaps (1) CmapServer will be down for maintenance on Wednesday July 14 from 9:30 am Central Time (10:30 am New York Time) for 1 hour for both moving to faster hardware and installing new version of the software.

Hurricane Sally hit close to Pensacola, where IHMC's main offices are located and our Cmap servers and services are hosted. Electricity is shut and so the servers are down.

The expiration date on the certificates for Cmap Cloud and other services came up on us unknowingly and now the services are showing warnings. There is no security risk in accessing them. We are working on fixing the issue.
We are seeing a large increase in the number of users using the Cmap Cloud. We are sorry for occasional hicups in the system's response time.

We've released #CmapTools v6.04. For Mac users, it complies with requirements to run under OS X Catalina. For all users, "Autosave" is the default for all Cmaps that have already been saved. As the user makes to the Cmap, the program will automatically save those changes.
Released v6.03.02 of #CmapTools (desktop version), which fixes a bug where some users could not Export to PDF under Windows (and other small bugs). Download at cmap.ihmc.us
