It's the crab cakes that are actually chick pea burgers for me. This healthy, light and fresh recipe was used with ingredients all from our pantry here. We don't just give out boxes of food, we help our neighbors in need utilize them fully!
For #GivingTuesday this year, we reached out for support from you to help us in our goal of a community where there's #NoHunger4TheHoldays. In less than 48 hours you donated $2,850, which will be matched by a local supporter dollar for dollar, bringing our total raised to $5,700!
For the 2018-2019 season, Hunger & Health will be at every home game ASU plays! What we're accepting: * Canned or boxed food items that do not require refrigeration. * Monetary donations. Every donation you give will help feed Watauga County and keep our pantries stocked.
In our Giving Perfect Effort Canned Food Drive with the Watauga High Pioneer Athletics Dept., students and community members from around the county donated 565 POUNDS of food to us to give away here in Watauga County. Thank you all for your help to end hunger in the high country

We are SO grateful to partner with @appstate's Athletic Department for a CANNED FOOD DRIVE during the kick off for the 2018-19 season with its annual Fan Fest on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 5:30-7:30! We'll be collecting canned goods and giving bear hugs at the gate! Come see us!

We want to give a huge thanks to the Boone Area chapter of the @lionsclubs for all they do for us in maintaining our library. For years now they've handled donations, organization and mgmt. of the library at Hunger and Health, and it has always been beautifully run. Thank you!!
