Tex Winter used to say: work to master a skill at a certain speed, then work on improving that speed. He never said “Go as fast you can from the get go.” Of course, there is transitioning from offense to defense and vice versa where you want to run hard (but under control)

100% leads to burnout and injury. In reality it’s 90 percent or so that is key.

Michael Jordan was once asked what he thought his best skill was. He didn’t say it was his ability to dunk from the free throw line or his scoring ability. His answer: “I was coachable. I was a sponge and aggressive to learn.” The easier you are to lead, the further you’ll go.

When you win, keep working. When you lose, keep working. When you feel confident, keep working. When you feel lost, keep working. When you don’t know what to do, keep working. Have the mentality that nothing external can change your attitude or your work ethic.

This is what a foul looks like

The NBA's Last Two Minute report confirmed a missed foul call on Klay Thompson at the end of Kings-Warriors on Monday. The report said Thompson made contact with Kevin Huerter's arm on his 3-point attempt that could have tied it.

Greatness is a sacrifice. It’s sacrificing personal glory for the good of the team. It’s sacrificing the things that get in the way of winning. It’s sacrificing your comfort. Being great requires a series of sacrifices, but when you love something, you sacrifice for it.

Today is the day!! Can’t believe the season is already here. Gonna be a fun one this year!
