2023's been a rocky year in tech. Got laid off, went to another company, my manager got laid off and our projects got nuked, so I moved to another company and just recently survived a layoff there. Now that the dust has settled though, I have come back to KI
I am simply in shock that we're getting a balance update, among other things. I guess I'll be returning to KI, at some point

Software is a bit rough right now Was laid off in November and now again at risk at my current company, so I've had 2 job searches within 4 months. One thing I will say though is each job search shows me all the cool stuff I could work on. It's very exciting

Finally trying out the Anderson Squat. It's basically a deadlift-style squat. Every rep starts from the bottom relaxed, then you tense into position to lift. Come down, relax, tense, lift, etc Way harder than any other bilateral squat variation I've done
When your On Ryo Zan rekka is under the 3-hit rule and is breakable, you can try to mix things up to make it harder to break, or you can counterbreak them... OR you can delay enough to drop the combo, so their breaks are interpreted as normals that can be counter-hit
