Another Fat L. There's not much to say here. Felt like I was ahead for most of the game but was dabbling too much and got Max'd to pieces. Gotta figure out how to stall without just giving my opponent all the properties lol.
Another L. I have to go back and review my moves cos I made small errors throughout the game and was down 2k the whole game. Mid to late game, I started smashing my tanks into everything, which against Max was always a bad engagement cos Max strong, especially with comms. 😅
My winstreak is over. I played kinda well at the start, but my build order forced passive plays, and I fell apart and kinda rushed HQ and died for it. Will have to go back and scrutinise my moves. Lots of artillery on this map makes it a tough one to move. GG

I played super bad. Base skipped multiple times to keep up pressure on my opponent, who wasn't skipping. They had a solid opening and held 2 comms all game, but I guess I had a 3k lead for most of the game. I felt like they were winning. could have played a few more turns. GG.
Day 14 resignation. This map is super cool. You trade comms towers. At one point, my opponent had both and had 20% attack power. Mid game I got a couple of solid engagements in the center, which pushed me ahead, and finally, I used Andys super to counter Drakes global damage.
The next league game is on a map I've never seen. Wish me luck. 🫡
An early day 12 resignation. Had a really strong opening against this player after watching a few of their past games on this map. They would rush the left contested property. I built a day 3 recon to counter it and had between 1-3k income lead for the rest of the game.
Took a small break from comp AW for Christmas time etc. Will be back into next week. Lets see if I can hit 1k rankings. 😅
Olafs global damage carried me this game. My understanding of this map was so bad and I took lots of bad engagements. My opponent had both comms towers the entire game pressing the centre while I went wide. Luckily for me they base skipped a few times and I could outvalue them.
Another global league win! 😅 Heaps happy with my opening gameplan here. Denying their airport the entire game before pressing into the centre. HQ cap for game.
Won my first Global League game! Nowhere but up now... 😅
