Using namedtuple's to convert dicts to objects dlvr.it/Sv9pKW

"I wrote the Test Desiderata when I noticed that some people fixate on a single kind of test, a single point in that space, and claim that those are the only valuable tests." -- That *really* resonates & is 100% something I've been guilty of.

I recast @tottinge & @jlangr's FIRST principles for unit tests in Test Desiderata language: tidyfirst.substack.com/p/desirable-un… tl;dr comes to about the same thing. Try it with *your* favorite tests.

While I love the idea of LetsEncrypt, I am very tired of having to manually debug & figure out why my site no longer has https every 3 months.

Is it weird that I have an expensive pair of noise cancelling headphones (Sony 1000XM4's) that I will often use by putting them on, turning on the noise cancelling and just working without anything actually playing through the headphones? 🤔

Well #PyCascades has been an absolute treat. So well organised, all the talks were brilliant. It was so hard to choose where to be and when. Virtual Conferences can be great! ...plus the discussion in chat was 🐍

Controversial opinion: if you find you need the outline view in VS Code/your editor of choice to navigate a file, then you have too much code in said file & should break up. Many small files are better than a small number of big files.
