Appreciated the recent reminder for people that bookmarklets are a thing from @syntaxfm One thing I still use them for is mobile since I can write the bookmarklet on my desktop and quickly sync it via bookmark sync.
I highly recommend listening to @rla4 ‘s episode of @Hanselminutes . Really interesting to hear about the pragmatic approach to architecture. Of course it should always be balanced with researching new things but nice to hear FOMO doesn’t have to be the strategy. 😂

Stand-up move by @namecheap to allow my domain transfer to complete even though my domain had expired earlier today. I’ll be considering moving back when it is time to renew again and will definitely recommend checking them for anyone else.

One bright spot for @Delta , very kind gate agent (Roseanna I believe?) working the LAX-DFW flight doing what she could to make the best of this whole drama.
And the @Delta drama continues. Someone who was checked in and already checked their bags just got an email that they were bumped to a flight tomorrow. Guess their bags get to do a little sightseeing first? 🙄
So @Delta actually moved us to standby with no seats. Finally got us back on but seats not on the same side (A and D). According to them, they rectified the situation. Ridiculousness. This is my first experience flying Delta and I think it’ll be my last as well.
So I had an aisle seat on our upcoming flight and, at checkin, @Delta changes the plane from a 757 to a 767. No big deal, still had an aisle. Then afterwards they move back to 757 and put me in a middle seat. Not cool.
