Such sad news...A 55-year-old Dunwoody man died while on vacation last at a Florida beach when he swam into a riptide to save people struggling to swim. The father of two, who worked at Chick-fil-A, is being hailed as a hero by his friends and colleagues. ajc.com/news/dunwoody-…

Programming is hard. If you have experience, look for opportunities to help others. Remember how you felt when you started. And please never look down on or belittle someone that is confused. Let’s “Make Stackoverflow Great Again!”

I hate when I finally find the exact issue that I am having in a stackoverflow question, phrased exactly the way I need and I scroll down and there are 0 answers 😐

I've been dormant for a while now focused on learning Golang

1 hour of coding practice, every night, no excuses. Make it a habit. #CodeNewbie

On the hunt for a new role, react hooks, node, java , springboot

didn't get the job I wanted, so back to the hunt again, its important to keep a journal of growth and document your wins, that way when a low comes you feel better about what you've accomplished

spent the evening refreshing myself on Angular/Typescript

IDK who needs to hear this, but God doesn’t forget what you’ve done for others It’ll all come full circle in due time Keep going!

Still surreal to me that Tuesday I start my career as a professional software developer... I’m nervous, anxious, but most of all excited to become part of a team and surround myself with more experienced devs!

I like React more, but that’s probably just because of my prior experience in it means it’s more comfortable for me. Typing in Angular isn’t too different from doing it in Java, but the bi-directional data binding is something I haven’t taken full advantage of yet.

pro's and cons of angular vs react ?

unfortunately im back looking for dev work from my previous endeavor, If anybody has any leads on a full stack engineer with a little under a year experience let me know. Im confident I can add value to any team

I've really been enjoying work lately, with that said I've been neglecting my personal repos, This morning prior to work, I took some times to start wireframing my next project, merge in some security pull request, and updated my website. #developer

Typically my team has been moving at fast pace when it comes to pumping out stories. Myself being a newer dev it normally takes me twice as long, but as of the last few days i've been pumping out stories daily! #prouddevmoment

JS devs, be sure not to jump into a framework too quick. Make sure you have a fundamental understanding of things like promises, async/await, fetch, DOM manipulation, array methods, etc. You won't regret it

Almost got me lol

After the recent announcement from Google that they will be removing JavaScript from Chrome, and with IE and Safari set to follow, its clear that JavaScript will be obsolete within 12 months. Time to learn Python.

WFH has created new behaviors, like washing the dishes when I take a break from meetings. I literally can not see dishes in the sink without washing them. The rest of my house is 🗑 because of the kids, but them dishes are clean!
