mouton-rothschild finally has a replacement hard drive. Cluster is back to work collecting data for breaking ECC2K-130. 10% done now.

Down again. Work on power system at TU/e preponed from June (didn't know that preponing existed in NL). Hope the machines come up on Monday.
Back up since Thursday - emergency (bike!) trip to Antec paid off. Got 7 new power supplies and mounted them right away. Happy cluster!
Finally got the RMA today. Will see whether we can pick up the new power supplies ourselves - 6km from station by bike with 7 power supplies
Bummer: planned power outage at TU/e and 7(!) computers have broken power supplies. Busy filing RMA to get the cluster back up for ECC2K-130

Damn. Power outage at 8am and on a plane; missed out on13h of computatoin and lost all intermediate results. Now back to full service.
Cluster is running central servers and clients full blast.
ECC2K-95 rerun to test networking; finished in 19h on 40 Core2s, original took 25 days on 200 alphas. Love better CPUs and faster code.
The cluster finished breaking FSB_48. Very timely: our paper just got accepted to Indocrypt. Details http://eprint.iacr.org/2009/292.
