Ok. Why r specialists offices so hard to contact and communicate with? My MOA (>20 yrs experience) can’t get ahold of one specialist & other referring specialist can’t even tell her if referral was sent (for her daughter). This is sad. We need to do better for our pts.
PSA- if u go to hospital in BC. Roommate may have weapons or drug paraphernalia. Security refuses to remove such items without pt consent. Nurses are scared, but are other pts not also at risk. Come on @bcndp. Keep nurses, staff & pts SAFE! Bizarro world.
PSA. Surrey Hospital doesn’t have specialist pediatric ortho coverage. We r general ortho like every other hospital in FHA. It is waste of ur time & travel & overburdens us and hospital to travel from other catchments for kids injuries. Ortho care is no different!

It’s happening again. Inpatient ortho elective surgeries being cancelled for overcrowding. 2 days notice and 5 patients suffering in pain being cancelled. My office scrambling to find short notice day surgery replacements. The system is broken. Our gov has failed us.
