It’s hard to gain weight/add muscle if you’re not consistently eating breakfast. “Consistently” isn’t 3-4x a week for a month. It’s 7x a week for 3 months. Start with that.

For team sport athletes (IMHO)- Squat deep when it's time to get strong in the offseason. Squat shallower when it is time to compete to limit fatigue, also evidence that there may be a really good transfer between 1/4 squats and sprints and jumps in already strong athletes.
