Honestly I used to dress way different because I was trying to fit being the perfect girl and now I'm a non-binary adult who dresses either overly girl or overly guyish depending on my mood over a genderless blob with my clothes now and it more me than I ever was when I was a kid
any other queer friend that had a “weird” phase when they were younger (dressing/being their true selves) only to later on try to act normal by dressing in a way that could appease others/feel adeguate and now you’re into your 20s being your authentic self and being like uhh they
