Breaking change in Vanilla 22w42a: to increase load time performance, all textures must be in their respective folders. You cannot use custom folders anymore. (textures/item and textures/block for the block atlas, as an example)

22w19a adds the /place template command. it's basically the equivalent of bedrocks /structure load command. Finally no more jankyness to load structures through commands and an official way to do it! minecraft.net/de-de/article/…

Not Commands related, but you definitely need to know about this! If you run a server, update it! If you play on a server, don't, until it's updated. Restart your launcher now to get the security update!
A critical security issue has been found that affects Minecraft. If you have the game running, please shut down all running instances of the game and Launcher and restart - your Launcher will automatically download the fix.
