The fancy word for it is "entitativity," and it’s produced when people act and feel together in close proximity. We need it more, but we’re getting it less.

Focusing only on brick and mortar retail when talking about small town and rural revitalization is discriminatory. Finding real estate funding for young people and minorities is next to impossible in these areas. Small business doesn't nor should require a store front.
