It's that time again, our Wednesday Evening Prayer Service series kicks off this Wednesday during Holy Week. Join us at 6:30 pm for Prayer, Worship, and Holy Holy Communion as you begin a new sermon series. Our very own pastor, the Rev. Jonathan Favors-Grimes will be preaching.
Our community of faith mourns the passing of one of our own, the Rev. Dr. Roger A. Paynter Jr. Dr. Paynter served on our Ecclesia Board and as well as our preaching team. Our prayers are with his family, First Baptist Church of Austin, TX, and all of his students.
This week Olive Tree Community will have a Covenant Meeting. This important meeting is our official meeting to make a covenant with those who officially join as members of our community. The meeting will be on July 21 at 6:10 pm before Service. All are welcome to attend!

A week yesterday the African Methodist Episcopal Church elected and consecrated its 5th woman Bishop #141, the Rt. Rev. Francine A. Brookins Esq. Olive Tree sends our congratulatory to Bishop Brookins, Bishop McKenzie on her retirement, and Bishop Byfield elected as President.
