I'm all for cycling as a form of commuting but in Europe people use normal bikes, dress in normal clothes, and obey the rules of the road. Only in Britain does Adam from Accounts dress in head to toe lycra and treat the Chiswick road as a fucking Tour de France special stage.
RBKC somehow impressive at being worse than even the lowest expectations. Dotted-line paint-only cycle lanes that will be parked on the majority of the time, covering the two ends only. The main middle bit to have no changes at all! How can anyone respond to this consultation?!

So true. It’s beyond parody. @RBKC can remove a 🚲 lane used by thousands daily under a “special urgency” procedure, but they can’t get rid of an illegally parked car for two years. So it seems policy 🟰congestion road danger ✔️, safe sustainable transport 🚫
