Celebrating JB at last night’s ceremony were his wife Dorothy, daughter Katrina, GENYOUth COO Mark Block, and former NFL head coach @TonyDungy , who provided a video tribute.
JB received the James Brown Spirit of Service Award, presented by @wusa9 sports anchor Chick Hernandez, which each year will honor a Washington, DC area leader who embodies JB’s spirit, resilience, and commitment to excellence in inspiring positive change in the community.
